In a lighthearted yet cautionary message, singer and entrepreneur Esther Akoth, better known as Akothee, has sent a cheeky warning to her boyfriend Nelly Oaks about the unpredictable rollercoaster of pregnancy.
The couple, who have rekindled their romance after Akothee’s previous tumultuous marriage to Denis Schweizer aka Omosh, have navigated nearly a decade of on-and-off dating, all while remaining childless despite Akothee being a mother of five.
But now, with the lovebirds firmly back on track for almost a year, Akothee felt it was time to share a humorous dose of reality.
Using a funny video featuring pregnant comedienne Eunice Mammito, Akothee illustrated exactly what Nelly could expect if they decided to expand their family.
In the clip, Mammito is cozy in bed with comedian Terence Creative, insisting that their unborn child wants to play with Dad while simultaneously placing a late-night snack order.
“@nellyoaks, prepare yourself for all this nonsense! Ati the child wants to play with his father. Whoever got Mammy pregnant will kill you or kill you,” Akothee quipped.
The 43-year-old mother of five went on to depict her own pregnancy antics, admitting that her behavior during those nine months could leave everyone around her seeking an exit.
“My behavior is worse. All the waiters, housemaids, and drivers leave to save their lives! I thought I was toxic during pregnancy, but this @mammitoeunice has gone to the school of chaos!” she confessed.
Despite the light banter, Akothee’s journey hasn’t been without heartbreak.
She faced a devastating miscarriage in December 2022 while expecting her sixth child, a loss she reflected on during a live show in October.
“Now I am happy that the pregnancy was aborted. Who would I be right now if I had that baby? In 40 chasing men everywhere…sometimes women aren’t real to ourselves; how will we get pregnant in such a short time?” she candidly expressed.
