Mwai Kibaki’s grandson Sean Andrew has shared his thoughts on Khaligraph Jone’s enormous mansion.
Speaking during a podcast recently, Sean said that the mansion is horrifying and could be having a lot of echoes because of empty spaces.
“I don’t want to throw shade or anything, but it’s a tremendous amount of space in that sitting room. Even if you’re going for the minimalist vibe, at least try to make it a home. I can just imagine the echo in that place—it’s horrendous,” he said.
Sean added that Khaligraph can make the house homely by adding decorations such as plants.
“It looked really cool. It’s your home, you know? At least put in some plants—make it a home. I think someone who poured that much investment into the place… if you have that money, you have access to people who will do the job right. It’s not his fault; I don’t completely blame him. But it’s the people around him who didn’t give him any guidance,” he said.
Speaking in an interview with 10/10, Khaligraph Jones said that he built an extremely huge mansion to revenge on the problems he went through while growing up.
“First, there is no shortcut. I struggled a lot, when you see the mansion, the mall…we used to sleep on the floor, so we have to revenge the struggles we went through now,” he said, adding that prayer, patience, perseverance and discipline can take someone to greater levels.
Also, while responding to comments on his mansion, Khaligraph said that such are kind of the problems that he wished for.
