Comedian and content creator Dem wa Facebook has finally responded to claims that she has fallen out with Oga Obinna.
In an interview with Milele FM presenter Ankali Ray, the female comedian maintained that they are not in bad terms with Obinna and they only took a break ahead of the holiday season.
“Sitaki umbea,” she repeatedly said before adding that she has not heard any reports that their Weekly Show has been disqualified.
She also denied that it was Obinna who addressed their sudden break on the Weekly Show.
“Bebii wangu akaongea? Hapana hio ilikuwa photocopy. Huyo si yeye, watu wengi wamfanana. Hatujakosana. Kipindi hakijakatika yaani mtu hawezi enda break kwa amani sahizi Christmas huwezienda break urudi kwa umbea?”she posed.
On whether their romantic relationship was real, Dem wa FB said, “Stop gossiping. Mambo ya watu wawili koma.”
She also declined to reveal the exact salary that Obinna used to pay her, only quoting an exaggerrated amount.
“Brother, even you you can’t disclose how much Milele pays you. That’s a secret. I can’t reveal. I vowed to never betray my Bebii. He pays me 7 million,” she said.
Profate, a comedian working with both Dem wa Facebook and Obinna confirmed that the Weekly Show had been suspended until further notice. According to him, the decision was arrived due to the trolling adding that all was not well between Dem wa Facebook and Obinna as they needed time apart.
Obinna on the other hand also declined to address the issue saying that time will reveal everything.
Asked on whether the show will return, Obinna said he can’t promise anything.
“Possibilities are limitless when God is involved. God is in people but so is the devil. God might come and mean well but the devil might also have his own plans. Somethings are beyond control,” he said.
“I like to stick by the truth if it is coming, if it os not clming I will tell you it is not but for now we are in a limbo.”
