YouTuber Pritty Vishy has dispelled claims that a ringworm infection forced her to go bald.
Rumours about her having the infection surfaced when she shared a video of herself at the barber shop. Her head was full of dandruffs that it appeared white.
Addressing the rumours, the 23-year old said that she had her own reason that made her shave saying it was a new beginning for her.
“I have shaved my hair for my own reasons. I have no ringworms or anything y’all think. I didn’t dye my hair black when I decided to cut it so the reason it looks that way is because of dye and dandruff,” she said.
She had previously had a bright coloured dye on her head.
She further explained why she shaved in a YouTube video, saying that it is because of two things that she had done this year which she wasn’t proud of.
“It is because I believe am ready for a new start. This year, I did two things that I know God is not happy with me. I am not happy with myself either. That thing hurts, I never saw myself doing that thing but then again it happened but then again we ignore it and move on,” she said but failed to give more details.
“I have a burden that I caused myself in the beginning of this year and in between. It has been worrying me a lot. I wanted to shave on my birthday day but unfortunately I have been too emotional,” she added.
Pritty shaved her hair just days after revealing that she had embarked on a weight loss journey, using the Ozempic injection.
Her decision to embark on the journey was influenced by the endless trolls she has been receiving on social media.
