Willy Paul has shut down rumors of dating content creator Ikoh Roz.
In a video he shared on Instagram, the controversial singer said that he is just good friends with Ikoh and that they would never be an item.
“Me and Ikoh have never dated. It was all just PR. Nitoeni kwa hio circle. She is a very good friend of mine, she is a good girl, very understanding but ni poa kujua we have never dated, that will never happen,” the Saldidi Records boss said.
The artist further asked people to stop calling him about the subject
“Watu wako kwa DM yake wakidhani niko hapo, hapa. Waheshimiwa nawaona, watu wa kawaida, nitoeni hapo, siko jameni mwache kunipigiapigia simu mkiniuliza maswali hayamake sense, I’m not there I have never been there,” he said.
Previously, Ikoh Roz had said that they were not dating adding that they were just good friends.
She also shared reasons she wouldn’t want to date the musician.
“We are not dating but Poze ni type yang. Nikisema si type yangu nitakuwa nimekosea. Pozze ni type yangu kusema ukweli. He is a good looking man but hapo kwa tabia nataka tabia zenye zinanifaa, you respect me I respect you,” she said.
Later she said that she loves him very much but wasn’t aware if he could reciprocate.
“Willy Paul is a nice person to be honest. Nampenda sana hata yeye anajua hivyo. But no one is perfect, there are errors. I understand him. I knew him after breaking up with my ex. I noticed that if you are soft towards Paul, he will be controlling. You also have to be tough headed. If you are with Paul and you are soft, you will be crying daily,”Ikoh said in an interview.
