Radio host turned content creator Andrew Kibe is now ready to pursue justice over termination of his YouTube account on September 11, 2023.
Kibe has found the motivation to pursue the case and he is now looking for a good lawyer after keenly following the impeachment proceedings of now former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
According to him, he has been able to pick the art of arguing from the proceedings that were concluded on Thursday night, with Gachagua being send packing.
“I am looking for a lawyer with big balls we sue YouTube for wrongful termination of my channel and losing access top over 3,000 of my videos. After watching the proceedings non-stop, I have learnt the lingo to argue my case in court,” Kibe wrote on X.
It is over a year since Kibe lost his YouTube account that had over 474,000 subscribers with over 159 million views.
Kibe decided to launch his own platform known as Yafreeka to share his content after YouTube’s locked him out.
“Have been testing out the live feature on Yafreeka and I am confident we shall be going Live this Friday.Sign up there and start uploading your content. We are the content cartel! Meanwhile, catch me tonight same time here on X, Rumble, Instagram and TikTok. The train left the station bruh,” the former radio presenter last year.
Google’s head of communication Dorothy Ooko explained why Kibe was banned from YouTube.
“While he was restricted from using YouTube features, including uploading videos on his channel, he used another channel to get around these restrictions aka circumvention, resulting in termination of all his channels,” she said.
Kibe however responded to that asking them to be serious as they never informed him of any violations.
“Sounds so pedestrian. Can you show me the emails of the violations? That is the procedure right? I mean, there is no way YouTube permanently blocks any channel that has over 3000 videos with no proper trail. Be serious,” he said.
