“Pretty Vishy Kalinitusi Kweli Kweli” Karen Nyamu Takes A Dig At Vishy’s Misery

Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu has entered the ongoing online debacle between JCM Church’s Bishop Ben Kiengei and digital content creator Pritty Vishy, garnering attention with her candid remarks.

In a post shared on her official Facebook page on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, Nyamu expressed that she has received requests to support Vishy amid the controversy.

Bishop Kiengei has been under fire following a viral video where his comments about Pritty Vishy were deemed offensive.

Critics accused him of contradicting the teachings of compassion he preaches, with many highlighting that body shaming goes against their beliefs of acceptance and love.

In response, the bishop released a statement on September 3, 2024, where he offered his sincere apologies to Vishy, admitting that his comments were inappropriate.

“Pritty Vishy I am really sorry and I take this moment to highly apologise for mentioning your name in a show where I went overboard and mentioned you in the wrong way. Get a space in your heart to forgive me for addressing you in the wrong way,” Kiengei stated.

He extended an invitation for Vishy to join his church, emphasizing his desire for forgiveness.

However, Pritty Vishy was quick to reject the bishop’s apology, insisting that he should apologize in the same manner as he had disrespected her.

“When you widely opened your mouth to abuse me did you send your assistant ama ni yeye alikuandikia line? If you wanna talk to me talk to me directly, and before that I don’t want a written apology. I want a video, the same way you sat down and made that disrespectful video, do the same on the apology…don’t send people to me kwani walikusaidia kucheka?” she retorted.

Reflecting on the situation, Karen Nyamu suggested that the backlash against Bishop Kiengei was exaggerated, highlighting his role as a comedian.

“It has come to my attention this morning via a comment on my Facebook, asking me to stand with the girl child in the spat by Pritty Vishy and Bishop Kiengei. I know Bishop is a comedian and he also shoots straight and can go overboard. But get his point. He wants Vishy to actually pick a hustle or something to be known about and not just her association with Simple Boy. If she can get that fact she can improve herself,” she articulated.

Nyamu acknowledged that while the bishop had publicly apologized, she doubted Vishy would accept it.

“As for the way he said it I see he has apologised. No need to go into it. On the other hand, Vishy will never apologise to me lol, though me ata sinanga noma,” she added with a laugh.

In a twist of events, the senator shared her own experience with Vishy, recalling a time when she was ridiculed by the content creator in a viral video posted by a blogger.

Nyamu expressed disappointment, revealing that she once admired the vlogger.

“So sometime back, I see notifications on Instagram that Pritty Vishy has mentioned me. I was curious because I liked her. Wueh, kalikua kamenitusi kweli kweli kwa video posted by a blogger. Na nikaskia kidogo disappointed that the love wasn’t mutual,” she reflected.

Drawing a parallel to Vishy’s current tears over the situation, Nyamu commented, “Today she’s crying because of lighter statements made about her. Yes, I said lighter.”

As the online saga continues, many are eager to see how this drama unfolds and whether a resolution will finally be reached.
