Tanzanian socialite and model Hamisa Mobetto has shed light on her decision to have children with Tanzanian music star Diamond Platnumz.
In a recent interview with Wasafi FM, Mobetto, who is a mother of two, shared insights into her romantic past and the circumstances surrounding her pregnancies.
Mobetto, who shares a daughter with Tanzanian media personality Majizzo and a son with Diamond Platnumz, emphasized that her choice to become a mother was rooted in genuine love and devotion to her partners.
She maintained that there were no mistakes or regrets in her decisions to have children.
“When I had my two children, it was because I was in love. There were no mistakes. I was totally devoted to their fathers,” she said.
During the interview, Mobetto recounted that Diamond had expressed a strong desire to have a child with her, despite being in a relationship with Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan at the time.
She disclosed that she became pregnant three times while Diamond was still married to Hassan, but the first two pregnancies tragically ended in miscarriage.
Mobetto revealed that she lost her first pregnancy with Diamond while they were traveling together.
Although she experienced another miscarriage with a subsequent pregnancy, she was eventually blessed with a successful third pregnancy, resulting in the birth of their son.
When asked about Diamond’s response and any request for a paternity test, Mobetto did not provide specific details but suggested that Diamond likely had more certainty about the child’s paternity due to their history together.
“Nadhani katika mtu mwenye uhakika zaidi kuhusu mtoto kuwa ni wake au sio wake ni Diamond, kwa sababu hata kabla sijapata mimba ya Dylan, nilishapata ujauzito wake mara tatu na bahati mbaya ukaharibika,” she said.
