DJ Joe Mfalme and three others are behind bars at Kabete police station and are facing murder charges allegedly. They have been arrested after a sad incident involving the beating of a police officer allegedly, leading to his untimely death.

The incident, which occurred earlier this month, resulted in the officer being hospitalized due to severe injuries inflicted upon him.

According to a police report released on the 22nd of March 2024 around 1600hrs, it was revealed by Reinhard Kintosi, the brother of the deceased officer, that No.241451 IP Felix Kelian Kitosi of DCI Dagoretti had passed away while receiving treatment at Nairobi West Hospital.

The deceased officer had been involved in a non-injury traffic accident near Kikuyu Market close to Kikuyu Police Station on the 16th of March 2024 at approximately 0400hrs.

Following the accident, he had complained of abdominal pains and was undergoing medical treatment.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the officer was assaulted by individuals known to him after a disagreement regarding the earlier mentioned traffic accident, which did not result in any injuries.

The body of the deceased has been preserved at Umash Funeral Services Mortuary in Mbagathi awaiting an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
