Quincy Timberlake is the son of Quincy Timberlake and stepson of former KTN presenter Esther Arunga.
The young man will embark on a transformative educational path. Quincy’s decision to pursue higher education at the Kenya Aeronautical College at Wilson Airport is an exciting development in his life.
This significant step was officially announced by journalist and lawyer Wahome Thuku, who revealed that Quincy would be undertaking a rigorous four-year engineering course at the esteemed institution. Quincy’s academic journey commenced on September 8th, and during his orientation, he was accompanied by his guardian, Sally Njoki Ndwigah.
Quincy Timberlake distinguished himself academically by achieving an impressive A- grade while attending Chavakali High School.
Wahome Thuku, who played a pivotal role in organizing a fundraiser to support Quincy’s educational pursuits, disclosed that approximately Ksh400,000 had been collected to secure Quincy’s enrollment at the college.
Thuku further elaborated on the financial plan, stating, “We have spent close to Ksh400,000 to get him to join the college. That will take him one year. We hope to put him through for two years and then do another fundraiser. The last two years [of his degree course], he will be in China.”
The fundraiser, which took place on August 4, 2023, received generous contributions from compassionate Kenyans amounting to Ksh1 million. These contributions were directed towards benefiting Quincy and the two other children who had faced challenges accessing basic necessities and education.
Reflecting on the community’s overwhelming support, Wahome Thuku expressed deep gratitude, saying, “I am almost in tears. This young man would never have dreamt of getting there without you folks. Not even a dream. With all his brilliant brains, he would have wasted always in the streets of Nairobi.”

The journey of Quincy Timberlake is undeniably complex, intertwined with his father’s previous marriage to the late Rose Mweni Gideon in the 1990s. However, in 2009, Quincy Timberlake chose to leave his first family for Esther Arunga, who was then a KTN anchor.
Quincy and Esther’s journey subsequently took them to Australia, where they faced legal challenges following the tragic death of their son, Sinclair, in 2014. Esther Arunga, after a change in her statement, pleaded guilty to being an accessory to the murder after the fact to manslaughter.
This decision followed Timberlake’s involuntary admission to a mental health facility.
