Tanzanian songbird Zuhura Othman aka Zuchu has dispelled claims of expecting Diamond’s child.
A few weeks ago, Diamond revealed that his fiancee was expecting his child and will be delivering in January.
“Nasemaje, ndio kwanza tumeanza, yaani mashabiki wanakula raha kuanzia July 2023 hadi January 2024 mchumba anapoenda kujifungua,” the artist shared on Instagram.
In as much as he did mention if he was talking about Zuchu, many believed that she was the one carrying the child as the two have been rumored to be dating but they have never admitted the allegations
In an interview, Zuchu however said that she has no plans of having a child in the near future. She added that she wants to raise children after she gets married.
“To be honest with you, I’m not planning to get a child right now. I feel like I need to do a lot of things. One of the best things I want to do to myself is to get married so that I get kids. I want to get married. I feel like single mothers are very stroy, raising a kid on your own is hard work, if you are in the middle of a career like mine, you can find your child being raised carelessly. I want have a baby when settled and be there for them,” the sukari hitmaker said.
“I was raised by a mother who is also in the music industry, I used to see her five times a year, we were in Zanzibar. She was trying to do the best so that we can eat,” she added.
She further hoped that God will bless her with twins, a boy and a girl.
“Ndoa ni kama kifo, haupangi, anayepanga ni Mwenyezi Mungu. I don’t see it right now. Natamani kuzaa watoto wawili tu, wananitoshana na mwenyezi Mungu naomba anisaidie nipate mapacha wa kike na kiume, tosha,” she said.
