Dancehall artist and successful businessman KRG The Don has come out to address the viral video in which he was captured partying wildly with Bahati’s wife Diana Marua.
Kenyans were widely concerned by the closeness between KRG and Diana, yet Bahati was present.
In an interview with YouTubers KRG however said he has been close with the couple for for long, revealing that he is their daughter’s Godfather.
“Kwa club kuna biashara nyingi zinahappen an whispering kwa maskio ya mtu ni kwasababu labda mziki uko juu sana. Me, Bahati and Diana we have been friends for so many years. I am actually Godfather of their first born Heaven. We are good friends we were having fun. She is like my sister and when am with my sister I can hold he, hug her. The only thing I can not do ni ile mambo sasa ya mzee kabisa kabisa. Lakini kushikana, kufurahia hata tuimbe pamoja that you can do with your sister,” the artist said.
He noted that only insane people and those who have not experienced love in their life concluded otherwise from the video.
“Watu wengine ni wapumbavu wako na akili pungwani ndio wanadhani labda nikikushika hivi sasa unakuwa bibi yangu. Kama umelelwa uko na upungufu wa mapenzi unaona mpaka mtu akikurabia anataka kukufanyia vitu mbaya lakini haimanishi namna hio,” he said.

He also said that he can’t snatch people their wives, especially friends because of respect.
“Sina sifa za kunyang’anya watu wake zao. Naheshimu bibi za watu. Wasichana wale wako single wako over 1 billion siwezikumaliza hata nikuwe number one kiuno moto. Mi sijawahikunyang’anya mtu dem. Niko na heshima kabisa na watu na commitments zao.
“Nawezakuwa niko na pesa zinawezakuinfluence corruption kwa nyumba yenu lakini siwekuchukua bibi ya mtu especially rafiki yangu nachukulia bibi zao kama dada zangu, lazima niwachunge vizuri kwanza nikikupata unazingua mume wako tunagombana mbaya sana,” the father of four said.
