“Hatutaki Shakahola” Blow To Pastor Ezekiel After His Crusade Is Cancelled In Tanzania

Pastor Ezekiel faced a setback when his crusade in Arusha, Tanzania, was abruptly cancelled.

Ezekiel Odero, better known as Pastor Ezekiel, a preacher from New Life Church, recently faced a significant blow when his highly anticipated crusade in Arusha, Tanzania, was abruptly canceled at the last minute.

Hundreds of believers had gathered at Ngarenaro Primary School, eagerly awaiting the spiritual gathering, only to be left frustrated and disappointed as the Arusha District Defence and Security Committee revoked the crusade’s permit.

Believers from across East Africa and other countries had traveled to Arusha to participate in the much-hyped crusade led by Pastor Ezekiel, who was scheduled to preach alongside Soni Nabii, a renowned Tanzanian preacher.

The venue was filled with hopeful worshippers eager to experience a spiritual awakening, but their excitement turned into dismay when the police arrived and ordered everyone to leave immediately.

The Arusha regional police commander, Justine Masejo, revealed that the decision to cancel the crusade was made following the receipt of specific information about the gathering. However, the director of Arusha Municipality, Mr. Juma Hamsini, listed four reasons for the permit’s revocation, shedding light on the gravity of the situation.

MackenzieOne of the key reasons behind the permit’s cancellation is Pastor Ezekiel’s alleged association with Paul Mackenzie, a prime suspect in the Shakahola cult deaths, which have tragically reached 403 victims by Monday evening.

Concerns about this association have raised questions about the preacher’s involvement in the matter.

The preacher is currently under investigation for alleged involvement in human organ trafficking, a grave crime that has drawn significant attention to his activities and connections.

Pastor Ezekiel is also facing accusations of money laundering through his church and church-registered companies, suggesting possible financial irregularities and misuse of funds.

Further allegations include the preacher’s alleged involvement in assisting suicide, a deeply concerning charge that has further added to the controversy surrounding him after allegedly being linked to Shakahola deaths.

Mr. Hamsini emphasized that the permit application procedure was not followed correctly, which further complicates the situation.

The combination these cases, charges and permit irregularities led to the cancellation of the crusade.
