“Wananichukia kwasababu nimechukua jina, nafasi kwa media, kwa mitandao ya kijamii, muonekano nimewashinda,” KRG claimed.
The artist was put to task by Cassypool on why he didn’t show 2mbili support by attending his concert recently.
According to Cassypool Kenyan artist have no unity and are envious of each other that’s why they don’t go far.
Defending himself, KRG said that he had another paid show, which he couldn’t ignore to attend the one he was not being paid.
He went on to say that artists supporting each other doesn’t matter but Kenyans supporting artists.
“If 2mbili or Cassypool has a show, Kenyans should attend in masses. They should also come to my show and not Cassypool and 2mbili, how will that help me because they won’t buy tickets, they will come for a free show. We are working for Kenyans we have to make them happy and not me. Let me advise you, never think that when fellow artists support you in your art you will make it. Think of how you will please the Kenyan citizen who will consume your products on a daily basis, that’s the most important person not being posted by a fellow artist,” he said.
KRG further demanded that no artist should promote any of his new songs on their social media accounts.
According to him, Kenyan artists are jealous of him and never invite him to their events because he is more successful.
“If I release a new song, no artist should post it, I don’t want any artist to share my song. I have fans and followers who believe in me and that’s enough. Artists hate me because I have a name, I have taken a position in the media, social media, I better than them in terms of looks, I have more money than them, I am clever than them and they don’t wnat me that’s why they can’t invite me. Again, I am a government artist, I will tax them so they are angry,” KRG said.
