Diana Marua has always been open about her past and the challenges she has faced. In a recent conversation with her nannies, she courageously shared her experiences of suffering in previous relationships while expressing her deep gratitude to God for her husband, Bahati.
During the conversation, Diana revealed that one of the men she dated ended the relationship because she didn’t know how to cook.
Another man left her stranded on the road after making her alight from his car before driving off, causing her to fall.
However, the most painful experience was with a partner who mistreated her and only showed kindness when he needed her to pay his rent.
Diana’s nanny, Irene, had asked her about her luck in love, prompting her to open up about these difficult moments.
Diana says, “I have suffered. But God’s timing is the best. There was a guy who made me cry, gave me depression, and eventually kicked me out.”
“I would go without eating or sleeping for a week. Then he would come back, apologize, and say, ‘Please come back home.’ And I would reply, ‘I love you too,’ even though he might have even hit me.” Diana narrates.
“Nimerudi Soko” hit singer further explained that three days after reconciling with him, she would learn that he hadn’t paid the rent due to delayed funds.
She would then end up helping him, but the mistreatment would soon resume. She never believed she would find a man like Bahati, who treats her well.
Diana expressed her gratitude and now see’s Bahati’s love and care as a way for God wiping away her past tears.
