During an interview with Ankali Ray on Milele FM, Eric Omondi finally addressed the always coming up question of the paternity of Jacque Maribe’s son, a claim he has asserted for quite some time.
Eric Omondi acknowledged the challenge in determining the biological father of Jacque’s son, stating, “I don’t know. I’m not sure, but it’s not a problem.”
He further revealed that he occasionally provides financial support for the child, saying, “Sometimes I fulfill my responsibilities, and other times I don’t.”
When Ankali asked why they hadn’t done a DNA test to conclusively settle the matter, Eric hinted that the issue lies with the test itself. He replied, “You’ve hit the nail on the head, and I appreciate it. That’s the issue, bro. It’s about finding peace. Many people have failed to speak up, but you have spoken up, bro.”
Eric expressed his eagerness to undergo a paternity test, emphasizing, “There have been times when I’ve wanted to.”
When Ankali pressed him to confirm if Jacque Maribe is the one obstructing the test, Eric avoided discussing legal matters but indicated agreement with Ankali’s understanding. He said, “Just… I don’t want to delve into certain issues right now, you know how you’ve put it. There are court orders, I don’t want to discuss, but I’m happy with what you’ve said.”
Eric also reiterated to Ankali that the unborn child he shares with his girlfriend Lyn is his first-ever child. He shared, “The very first one, the first. God has blessed me, and this child is mine.”
Jacque Maribe replied to Eric Omondi’s claim that she is unwilling to do a DNA test for their son, with just a laughing emoji showing tears, widely used to show something is funny.
The former Citizen TV news anchor further says Eric lies alot warning him co-parenting is not a comedy.
