“Kama wanadai kutrace trace the boy watajua boy ni hazardous,” Trio Mio has responded to the online death threats he received back in May 31.
The threats however went viral just recently after Trio Mio’s mother re-shared them while calling upon DCI to look into the matter, saying that she fears for her son’s life.
“At times we take jokes too far…but this hii sio funny at all. My son not long ago got mugged at gunpoint we are yet to get over the trauma. Then this???@dci_kenya have you seen this? As a parent I humbly request for action to be taken against these characters! My heart isn’t at peace. May God protect my child!…,” Trio Mio’s mother, Irma Sakwa, expressed her concerns.
Speaking to Mungai Eve Media, the teenage rapper has however said that he doesn’t know the two youthful men who threatened to kill him.
According to him, he only deals with open and legitimate businesses and there is no way he could have involved himself with the individuals.
Trio Mio further said that he was so shaken when he came across the death threats on Twitter.
“You sure?” he said when questioned about the contributions.
“I don’t know them, for real, hanaku vile nawajua. Deal gani hio. Mi napenda kupiga business za kitrue. Business unajitolea hivi na uchape na ionekane. Hio ni biz gani sasa tulipiga hanaku, hanaku , nicheki hio kitu nilishtuka, nilipatana nayo Twitter niko like what!” he further said.
Asked on whether he was pursuing legal actions against the suspects, Trio Mio said that his mother is handling everything.
“Right now I am taking care of myself. I left my mom, that is why niliweka mum kuwa manager. I feel safe kama niko na mother, that is why I told her to speak out,” the Cheza Kama wewe hitmaker said.
In their tweet, the suspects accused Trio Mio of stealing an unknown amount of money that they had contributed.
“Trio Mio we will kill you mbona utuibie pesa ya mchango, Tunakuua hatuogopi,” they said.
