Things got heated during an interview between KRG The Don and his alleged baby mama Susan Kinyanjui aka Mama Yvonne.
The duo were jointly interviewed by Nicholas Kioko and they engaged and they could not help it but label each other liar.
Kinyanjui maintained that KRG was Yvonne’s father. According to her they met in 2002 in Gikomba where KRG was working. At the time she was 13 years and KRG used to stay at his cousin’s place in Ndumberi.
“Ulikuwa unafanya kazi Gikomba. Nilikujuwa through your cousin anaitwa Kim. Ulikuwa unaishi kwao. ID yake ilikuja hivi, ilikuwa on Sunday hakuwa anaenda job, ile time ya kufanya general cleaning kwa nyumba kwa album yake, nikienda kuona picha zake, ID ikaanguka nikamuuliza kwa nini unaitwa Kajoji na ID yako inasoma hivi na hivi(Steven Karuga Kimani) akaniambia hio ni nickname,” she said as KRG burst out laughing.
He went ahead to deny her claims saying that in 2002 he was 11 years. According to him, he first came to Nairobi on his own in 2008 and this was after fighting with his family, who didn’t want him to leave home.
KRG maintained that Kinyanjui is a stranger to him. He further demanded her to tell him his birth marks if indeed they bore a child.
“Mimi sijawahi meet huyu mama, hata jina yake mimi sijui mpaka sahi. Kama mi nawezakumbuka wale watu tulicheza nao banta, cha mama na cha baba nawajua wote mbona nikose kujua huyu. Mimi niko na watoto wanne, sijawahi kudeny watoto wangu hata mmoja. In fact I don’t have a daughter I only have sons, nitakosaje kurecognize mtoto wangu msichana,” he said.
KRG further blamed Susan for feeding Yvonne with wrong information to make her believe that he is her father.
He also explained why he accepted to undertake a DNA test when he is maintaining that Yvonne is not his daughter.
“Huyu msichana is very innocent. Mimi siwezitaka akuje kuniblame nilihurt feelings zake. This is drama, If I was her I wouldn’t want to involve my daughter in such a drama. Because we need to prove a point and set the record straight to the girl, the best way is to do DNA,” he said.
Yvonne’s mother however claimed that KRG was afraid of admitting that Yvonne is his child because he is afraid of his baby mamas.
“Nikisema KRG ni baba mtoto namaanisha, Mimi nilikutana na KRG 2002 tukiingia 2003 alikuwa na ID, mimi ndio sikuwa na ID. Tukaongea tukaskizana nikapata Yvonne, nguo zenye Yvonne alivaa siku alizaliwa yeye ndio alileta, hakuna vile namwelekelea. Yeye ndio aseme hataki kusema Yvonne ni wake ndio asiharibu kwake, maybe hakuambia baby mamas wake alikuwa na mtoto,” she said.
She was however worried that KRG might influence DNA results because he is wealthy.
