William Malecela, famously known as Lemutuz, a popular blog-star has died.
The family of William Malecela Lemutuz, son of former Tanzanian Prime Minister John Malecela, has confirmed his passing today. Anne Kilango Malecela, who was William’s stepmother, verified the news of his death.
In an interview with Mwananchi media, Anne Kilango, a Member of Parliament for Same East (CCM), confirmed the news of William’s passing and stated that he had died in Dar es Salaam.
William was a well-known blogger in Tanzania and beyond, renowned for owning the popular Lemutuz blog and Lemutuz online TV.
The platform are known for providing a variety of content, including news, entertainment, lifestyle, and technology updates. Lemutuz had a significant following, particularly among young people in Tanzania, who found the platform’s content engaging and informative.
William was passionate about using his platform to promote Tanzanian culture, sports and highlighting issues affecting the youth.
His untimely passing is a great loss to the blogging community especially in Tanzania and to all those who appreciated his work.
