Controversies have started tailing Pastor Ezekiel Odero who is currently the most influential televangelist in Kenya at the moment.
Pastor Odera who ministers at the New Life Church located in Mavueni, Kilifi County became a national sensation when he filled the 60,000 capacity Kasarani stadium to the brim.
The preacher continues to gain global fame for his miraculous works as well as his preaching.
Some of his preaching though have raised eyebrows causing to question if indeed he is a true preacher or a fake prophet.
One of his recent preaching about women with dreadlock caused a stir on social media.
While ministering, pastor Ezekiel said that married women with dreadlocks are set to be divorced.
He warned single women against putting on dreadlocks, saying it would prevent them from get married. He went as far as saying those who were already married and have dreadlocks would soon be divorced.
The preacher also cautioned men that if they see their wives putting on dreadlocks, they were on their way out of the marriage too.
Dreadlock aside, pastor Ezekiel also warned about wristbands which he said are demonic.
The preacher cautioned all men and women against wearing wristbands saying it will cause them trouble.
“There’s nothing you’ll put on that will never dictate your life. Any man with that wristband, please talk to them. Kuna moto inawaka pahali… pengine imewaka imeteketeza kila kitu na sana huwa inachoma bedroom,” pastor Ezekiel ministered.
Critics say pastor Ezekiel’s church is a cult while his followers believe he is leading them to the right direction.
