Gospel singer Wairimu Wa Muchiri Accepts Her Fate After Years Of Struggling With Infertility

After several trips to gynaecologists and trying to get pregnant with different men, Kikuyu gospel singer Wairimu Wa Muchiri has ultimately thrown in the towel.

Wairimu Wa Muchiri has been struggling for many years to get a child in vain.

The gospel singer opened up about her plight during a recent interview on Gikuyu YouTube channel.

She recalled how she met her husband after she ran away from home to look for employment, revealing that she got married to him two days after they met.

She visited him in his house and that is how she got married.

However, after being married for four years, Wairimu couldn’t get children since she was infertile and her husband decided to divorce her.

Her husband called her father when she had gone to church and told him that she was not the type of a wife he wanted and asked him to tell her not to go back to his house.

After her marriage ended, Wairimu tried for 14 years to get pregnant with men she dated in different relationships but all was in vain.

Wairimu has tried several gynaecologists and had three operations but all failed.

She said the most painful question in her life is when someone asks her when she will get a child which hurts her when she remembers she can’t get one.

The gospel singer has since accepted herself just the way she is. Wairimu wa Muchiri shared her story to encourage women and men who have fertility issues in their marriage or relationship.
