Nini Wacera fears the lump in her breast could be cancerous and she can’t help but blame herself for it.
The actress opened up about having a lump in her breast while speaking on engage Talk.
Wacera said that she was about to fly to Zambia when she discovered that she had a lump.
“This august I found a lump in my breast right above my heart, I was home in Elementaita in a celebratory mood I had gone to pick up my passport so I could travel to Zambia to scoop the Zikomo award for best supporting actress in Africa,” she shared.
“I was on top of the world at that moment when I felt the t-shirt wet and sticky, I was filled with fear, utter terror oh Jesus I must have cancer,” she added.
Nini Wacera said she was just thinking about her daughter after she discovered the lump.
“I was thinking about my daughter that I can leave her alone so soon.”
She added that she blamed her former smoking habit she picked up at University for the lump in her breast.
“Smoking was glamourous,” she said.
She also blamed a lack of exercise and bad eating habits for the diagnosis.
Nini narrated that blame caused emotional destruction.
“It must be because you closed your heart to love, My multiple attempts at relationships had failed and I learned the hard way”
