Singer Willy Paul has claimed that Kenyans are mean after having a bad encounter with a local vendor.
The former gospel artist took to Instagram to share the annoying experience which occurred during the weekend. He was driving around in an unidentified place whereby he stopped to buy food for himself.
After running the errand, some children came to him saying they were thirsty and he bought them a drink to quash their thirst.
“Nimekuwa kwa drive through somewhere just after purchasing food for myself na pesa nimetafuta na jasho yangu. Some kids came to me and said hi. I said hi back. They said Pozze we are thirsty. I asked them if they will take juice and they agreed. So I paid exactly for that,” Willy Paul narrated.
According to him, the woman who was attending to children told him that they would not be satisfied.
The Umeme hitmaker was utterly surprised by her remarks. He however said that the lady should have be generous enough to buy food for the children.
“Some lady was serving came to my window and asked will they get satisfied with juice. I was so surprised. Kenyans are just mean. She would have bought something that she felt would suit them,” Willy Paul said.
