Akothee wants men empowered after visiting Migori County governor.
Taking to his Facebook page, Akothee shared her meeting’s brief update.
She says, every invite comes with key lessons to learn.
“Paid a courtesy call To His Excellency Governor Ochilo Ayako at his office in Migori County. There is something I am learning from our leaders every time I visit their offices.”
From the many stories and myth’s Akothee says the experience is different with each leader and each visit. She’s also learning, things she didn’t know before.
“I am happy to learn about the things I didn’t know and things I thought I was doing wrong in the eyes of the common mwananchi. Today His Excellency Told me clearly,” the Sweet Love singer adds.
Having raised her five children alone, most of the time, madam boss now wants to combine her self given accolades.
“The Tittle of President of Single Mothers into PRESIDENT OF SINGLE PARENTS.”
This she says is important to also accommodate father’s raising children in broken families.
Additional, Akoth feels it’s time to empower men. She says, “Men have been left out in empowerment,making it difficult for men to live with an empowered woman.”
True to every word, it’s not easy for any man to live happily with a woman of means, if he can’t match up to her generally and across the different family sets in Kenya.
Finally, she insists on the importance of a complete family where both parents are involved in the raising of their kids.
“We must understand the Role of a man in the society and let men be men and women be women. Allow children to be children and have a unified family. Thank you very much Sir for opening my eyes more grace JAKADERA🙏”
