Rapper Stevo Simple Boy has written an open letter to his late father Anthony Adera who passed away towards the end of last month.
In the letter he shared on his Instagram account, Stevo said that he is pained by his departure but he is praying for him.
“Hello baba naindika barua
Siku imefika ujaiona hata jua
Moyo yaniuma kaburi NATUPUA UA
Rest in peace MI nakuombea dua,” Stevo said.
The rapper was disappointed that his dad did not live to see the great promises he had made to him. He added that he was worried about the things of the world since no one knows what tomorrow holds.
“Nlikuhahidi majumba nazo magari
Ila umeenda hata bila nusu shari
Mambo dunia yanatia wasiwasi
Oooh my God naisema wazi
Hii maisha uwezi tabiri ya kesho
Yote yanapita duniani kama pepo,” Stevo wrote.
He futher said that he consoles his mother because of the loss, adding that if it were upon him, he would have brought the deceased back to life.
“Mama anawaza ila namtia nguvu
Namkumbatia Kisha nampiga busu
Roho yaniuma Nashindwa nahema
Nabaki nawaza ndo sitakuona tena
Umeondoka mapema ila safari iwe njema
Ingekuwa uwezo wangu baba si ungerudi Tena,” he said.
Stevo had previously urged his supporters to offer him support financially so that his family can give his late dad a befitting send off.
He also urged them to stand with him in prayers.
