Karen Nyamu has pointed out the alcohol she took in Dubai, that led to the ugly drama last year.

In the video, Nyamu approached Samidoh as he and his wife Edday Nderitu were seated at a table and tries to sit on the singer’s laps.

Edday eventually encounterde Nyamu as she tried to contact her husband. Security guards soon stepped in to stop a visibly intoxicated Nyamu from being escorted outside.

In a different video, Nyamu was seen dancing on stage while Samidoh and Akorino singer Karangu Muraya performed for the crowd. However, she was quickly asked to leave the platform after a small argument.

Karen Nyamu insists she’s not a drunkard, contrary to what many Kenyans think.

Speaking on Vybez Radio, Karen Nyamu admits she’s a social drinker who enjoys a bottle of Heineken regularly.

She says, “I am not a drunkard but I enjoy my Heineken once in a while.”

Karen continues to narrate events of the day that turned out ugly for everyone, “On that day I drank makali. People assume I drink every day but I don’t. I am a social drinker.”

She however does not regret, how things turned out. “That day (Dubai) was wild but I do not regret it.” she adds.
