Stivo Simple Boy Targets Eric Omondi In New Song(Video)

Kibra-born rapper Stivo Simple Boy has released a new song titled Haya Basi and the lyrics is centered on the bad experience he had while in Mombasa last month.

The rapper has also targeted the self proclaimed president of comedy in Africa Eric Omondi.

Stivo released the song after his nasty experience during the So Fire Fiesta event in which Nigerian singer Ruger was the headliner.

The Men In Business(MIB) signee was treated so lowly, forced to board a bus to the venue of the event and was even locked inside a hotel room after he refused to go on stage before being paid. Other artists who performed at the event were paid in full amount before setting foot on the stage.

Omondi, who was emceeing the event, blamed Stivo’s management for his woes and even threatened to have them arrested if they don’t resign.

According to him, the management only informed him that their artist had not been paid just when he was calling him on stage to perform. He also accused them of spending money recklessly.

In his new song Stivo points out that Omondi was the bad person and not his management. He further questions his role as a president.

“Naskia walisema ati nifute meneja kumbe hao hao ndio mateja. Wanajifanya huku nyuma wanipenda kumbe hao hao ndio wanisema. Naskia vitu vingi, naskia Kikiki naskia vitu vingi ule Rais ni wa nini,” Stivo sings.
