Manzi Wa Kibera went to the streets of Nairobi carrying a placard asking the Mumias East MP Peter Salasya to marry her.
The controversial socialite caused a stir in the city as she was skimpily dressed while carrying the placard.
The Mumias East lawmaker responded to Manzi Wa Kibera’s plea for him to marry her. He politely turned down romantic advances from the controversial socialite.
“Next time you carry a placard you try to put on a decent cloth atleast I be proud of you and Kenyans at large. Those people I serve are so strict on image presentation. Manzi wa kibera I wish all the best. One day I will come we fellowship together in a church,” Salasya tweeted.
Speaking during YouTube interview, Manzi wa Kibera said she didn’t believe Salasya her, claiming that the account that was used was fake.
“Mimi honestly kutoka kwa roho yangu nilifeel hio account si ya MP Salasya. Ni ya Kenyans. As you know hapa nje kuna tu Kenyans wanakuanga tu ready for anything kila kitu ikitrend anacreate account just like kuna Manzi wa Kibera wengi just like kuna watu wote wako na maparody accounts hapa nje. So for me that’s not mhesh. And mhesh kama alikua na kitu ya kuniambia nlikua nimeandika hapo number he would have called me and told me. So kindly that’s not mhesh lets go to the next, sasa huyu sahi ndo tunashugulikia, mambo ya mhesh tulimaliza kitambo,” Manzi wa Kibera said.
The 26-year-old socialite officially unveiled a 65-year-old man she is dating during the interview.
Manzi wa Kibera said she met the sexagenarian when she took to the streets carrying a placard asking the Mumias East MP to marry her.
She is delighted that even though she failed to win the love of Mumias East MP Peter Salasya she ended up falling in love with the 65-year-old granny who bears an uncanny resemblance to Royal Media owner SK Macharia.
