Akothee has been dating Omondi since July 2022 even though she only introduced him to her fans in September 2022.
The mother of five revealed she was dating again when she flew to Nairobi from Mombasa to pick up her sweetheart.
Akothee ultimately decided to go public about her relationship with the Swiss when she posted their romantic moment together.
She shared a video of Omondi chasing her on a beach where he proposed to her.
“He said if he puts me down it’s a yes,” Akothee wrote.
“Sawa basi, It’s yeeeeeeeeees
. Someone tell my mum atoke tu church aende home I went for a lunch date in Mombasa shortly,” she added.
Akothee and Omondi have only been serving couple’s goals ever since they decided to go public with their love.
Omondi in a recent post on social media narrated how he met and fell in love with Akothee.
The Swiss revealed that she met Akothee through a mutual friend in Switzerland and that he ultimately won her heart and made her his girlfriend on July 16, 2022.
“The first day I encountered with Esther, I met her through my friend Pius who lives next to lake Zug, she was in France heading to Italy for her holidays and after this video call I said to myself I must meet her in person. Then Pius convinced her to come over to Switzerland, and on the 16th July Esther Akoth Kokeyo was mine, I didn’t care of her status or who she is, I fell in love with her brain, spirit, personality, energy and she is beautifuuuuuuullll 🥰🤩🥰🤩🥰 @akotheekenya,” he wrote.
