Ageing Like Fine Wine! Sheila Mwanyigha Reveals How She Has Managed To Keep Old Age At Bay

Media personality Sheila Mwanyigha who is in her late 40s is still giving young girls a run for their money with her ravishing body.

The former Tusker Project Fame host, who is at least 45 years old, recently opened up about how she has managed to look young always.

Speaking during an interview with Nation, Mwanyigha revealed she has been working out a lot and had become a fitness freak.

The senior bachelorette noted that her advancing in age was one of the main factors that elicited her decision to hit the gym as dieting alone did not work the trick to attaining the lifestyle she desired.

Mwanyigha who started her journey in late 2021 said that the Covid-19 pandemic was also a contributing factor to her fitness journey after loosing two of her friends.

“Seeing people I knew die of Covid-19-related complications moved me. And I think one or two of them did not even know they had underlying conditions and by the time they were finding out, they were were dead and buried.

“The second thing that gave me a wake up call is that I am advancing in age. Not that I am an ancestor or anything but you are just thinking that already my bandwidth of coping with things is faulty and life is not necessarily getting easier. But you have to get stronger. How do you get stronger when the first thing you wake up n the morning is that you are tired? This was a warming bell and I realized I could not fix the problem I was having with dieting,” she said.

Sheila Mwanyiga has been single forever leading to speculations that she sacrificed having a family for her career.

In January 2019, the former radio and TV host revealed that she had been engaged several times but none led to her getting hitched.

“I am not yet married, I’ve been engaged several times. About 3 times. The first, I didn’t think he was the right person for me. The 2nd time my dad died and I wasn’t ready to leave Kenya and relocate to Europe. It was 6 months before the wedding. The 3rd time I said no. You don’t marry a person you can live with, marry someone you can’t live without,” Mwanyiga said during an interview on Milele FM.

She added that she didn’t want to settle down with just anybody, nothing that the other person needed to be in love with her just as much as she was in love with them.

“I never want to settle. If you don’t love someone as much as they love you, you can’t marry that one person. You should marry someone you can’t live without,” she said.
