Yvette Obura says Bahati was heartless when they broke up, leaving her with a baby and moved on with Diana Marua.
Speaking in a recent interview, Obura was asked if she was a “bitter ex-lover of Bahati” when their relationship went sour.
Her response was “no comment”.
However, last year in April, Obura revealed how bitter she was at Bahati after he dumped her and moved on with Diana Marua.
Obura opened up about her painful breakup with Bahati while speaking during an interview with Diana Marua.
The mother of one lamented that Bahati quickly moved on and that she only found out about Diana through social media when he introduced her as his ‘prayer partner’.
“The first time I learnt about you was on social media when you posted about prayer partners. I was like, wooh! At that time, I was not on talking terms with Bahati although he was in the picture from when Mueni was born and along the way we had our issues and we broke up. I am just from a breakup, I wondered how fast he met a girl to date,” Yvette Obura said.
Obura further disclosed that she started stalking Diana on Social media trying to find out who she was.
She lamented that Bahati didn’t give her a chance to reconcile but quickly moved on with Diana while she was left alone taking care of their daughter Mueni.
“In as much as we had broken up, there was still that part of me I was like, how comes, why did this happen, why didn’t he give me time. We were young and naïve but we had our plans. I was depressed and had so much to handle.”
