Mutalilia Kwa Choo! Lillian Nganga Reiterates Hard-Hitting Message To Celebs Vying In August Election

Lilian Nganga took issue with celebrities seeking electoral office in the August 9th general election noting that many were vying for selfish interests.

The former Machakos First Lady was alarmed with the rising number of celebs seeking elective seats in the coming elections.

In a post on social media, Nganga cautioned that famous people vying for political seats have no intention of serving the people and are only seeking public offices to chase clout.

The former Machakos First Lady stressed that fame is not enough reason for one to run for an office.

“Just because someone is popular for whatever reason does not mean they should run for office. Most of such have no intention of serving the people…it’s just chasing clout. Terrible,” wrote Lillian Nganga.

On Tuesday April 19th, Nganga once again reiterated her hard-hitting message to celebs seeking public offices.

She cautioned celebs-turned-politicians that once they lose in August 9th they will be in for a rude shock.

“Anybody running for office should mentally prepare for after August 8th. If you lose, the phones stops ringing, the crowds and groupies disappear, the “mheshimiwa” tag goes way etcetera etcetera. What and who will you be left with? Doesn’t hurt to evaluate,” wrote Lillian Nganga.
