Zari Hassan is raising her five children as a single mother and she is still glowing, the quadragenarian is slaying like she is in her 20s.
Zari is staying with her children in South Africa where she runs her businesses. She is the heir and CEO of Brooklyn City College (BCC), a South African based diverse, progressive educational institute which she co-founded with her late husband Ivan Ssemwanga.
BCC maintains the headquarters campus in Pretoria, with satellite campuses in Polokwane, Durban, Johannesburg, Nelspruit, Vereeniging and Rustenburg.
Zari hooked up with Ivan Ssemwanga and later got married to the tycoon in 2004. Her ex-husband was very wealthy and was also a philanthropist.
For a period of over 12 years Zari was married to the late Ivan Semwanga, they were blessed with three sons; Pinto, Quincy and Didy.
Zari divorced Ssemwanga in 2013 accusing him of physically abusing her and also infidelity.
Sometime 2014, Zari established a romantic relationship with Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz (Naseeb Abdul Juma), who is 9 years her junior.
They were blessed with two children in their relationship – Latifah Dangote (born on 6th August 2015) and Prince Nillan (born on 6th December 2016).
Zari alternated time between South Africa and Tanzania and so did Diamond when they were still dating.
However, Zari broke up with Diamond on 14th February 2018 (Valentine’s Day) after she got tired of his continued infidelity. Diamond cheated on Zari multiple times, even siring a kid with Hamisa Mobetto.
Well, Zari has not been lucky with love but she has done a good job raising her five children as a single mother.
