Gospel Ministers Size 8 Reborn and DJ Mo had a low key white wedding to renew their martiage vows on February 18, 2025.

The renewal came just months after Size 8 announced that they had parted ways after 11 years of marriage. The announcement that they were back together was welcomed positively, with many of their followers being encouraged.

The influential couple has now come out to share how they arrived at renewing their vows, and why it was important to do so.

“We have been married for 11 years but as a gift to my lovely wife , many ladies love walking down the aisle , after all the story, we said let’s do this,” DJ Mo said in a video shared on their YouTube channel.

On the other hand Size 8 said that they renewed their vows to begin their marriage again with positivity and rededicate their marital covenant to God.

“After being a part for a few months a lot is said and the Bible says the words of the mouth have power. We felt that it was very important to renew our vows and speak positive about marriage and others. That time of separation, a lot of negative were said by myself, my husband and people so we wanted to start our marriage with positive words to nullify the negative words,” the musician said.

The wedding was planned in three weeks, and only close family members and friends were invited.

The couple acknowledged that marriage is not easy but just like a coin has another side, there are beautiful things about it as well.

“We are happy that God has given us the grace to share that we are not perfect,” DJ Mo said.

DJ Mo went on to state that during their separation, he spent most of the time talking with elders. He was however able to deduce who his true friends were.

“I have learnt that; One thing that made us reconcile is that we are good friends, any time you decide to settle with someone make sure you are good friends first so that when when things go wrong you can sit down, when sober, as friends and sort issues. Two, you must settle with somebody you can tolerate. The third thing be quick to forgive, if you know can’t forgive, avoid dating and settling down until when God will give you the grace to forgive,” the father of two went on.

Size 8 on the other hand said, “What I understood at that season, I realized the people who really want us to be together.”

She added that she learnt marriage can not work with selfishness and pride.

“Whether it is your spouse who has wronged you, look at yourself first and ask God how can I make this better,” she said.
