With a monthly salary of approximately Ksh1.2 million, this amounts to a pension of Ksh951,240 monthly, ensuring a substantial income even after his tenure.
9. Lump Sum Payment
Upon retirement, Kindiki will be entitled to a one-time lump sum payment equivalent to one year’s salary per term served. Should he complete a five-year term (2027), this would amount to a Ksh14.4 million payout, designed as a financial cushion for post-office life.
